Hey Mike,
I have been breaking my workout days up by mucles groups, and I have really been trying to work on my lats (trying to get that V shape) and was wondering, is the curve of the back vital to the Lat Pulldowns form, cause I have the Body for Life as one of my referrence books for exercise form and in the book the demonstrator appears to keep his back nearly straight and trys to flex the muscles while letting the weight back down slowly, so I was just curious if I would see more results in shape, size, and strength of the Lats if I were to start arching my back during the exercise? And I was also wondering if you didnt mind posting a video on how to flex the lats, it appears to be harder then it looks. Thank you in advance and I look forward to your answer.

Hey Dillion: Great question!! If you take a good look at the picture of me performing the lat pulldown thats what you are looking for. By having your chest greet the bar it creates the arch in your back. This totally engages the lats all the way through the motion. This will in turn stimulate more of the muscle throughout the entire exercise.Keeping the muscle under tension as long as possible is the key to the growth and strength you are looking for.Look for my new e-book Weight Training for the Natural Bodybuilder ,coming out on my site in October.
